How Our Client Saved £18,000 a Year with RunGreen's Fuel Monitoring System for DAF Trucks

Managing and running a fleet of trucks is a demanding business, with so many different variables affecting cost and performance, impacting often narrow margins. RunGreen is helping companies to reassess their systems while trialing X-Carbon, which is proving to produce so many more benefits than originally anticipated.

A new fuel monitoring system was introduced to a client by RunGreen to assist with the management of their fleet of 18 tonne DAF Trucks. Until today, the fuel consumption and other details had to be logged by hand, so this software should save them £18,000 a year and be more accurate and timely. It will also enable them to assess the cost per mile of trips, driver and vehicle performance, allowing them to make changes to load, distances, drivers and more, to improve cost efficiency.
